Kailey Northcott

Solicitor

In 2020, Kailey Northcott became an integral part of the Wakefields Lawyers team, initially assuming the role of a Summer Clerk.

After completing 5 years of study, Kailey successfully earned her Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Otago. Driven by her desire to relocate to a warmer climate and advance her legal career at Wakefields Lawyers, Kailey returned to the Wellington region and was admitted to the legal profession in 2022.

Kailey is experienced in a diverse range of legal matters, including Property, Immigration, Wills and Trusts, Employment, Family, and Commercial law. Kailey enjoys taking complex issues out of the hands of clients and providing easy-to-understand, pragmatic advice.

Outside of the office, Kailey enjoys exploring New Zealand’s hidden gems, 2-for-1 cocktail deals in the capital, and regular pilates and dance classes. Kailey’s favourite style of dance is jazz, and you may have even spotted her performing at a Highlanders rugby game during her time down South.
