Sue Scutter joined the Wakefields Lawyers team in 2024.

Sue works with a wide variety of clients and has a particular interest in the areas of property conveyancing, wills, trusts, enduring powers of attorney, estate planning and administration, and property relationship matters. She also enjoys working with older clients, addressing issues related to residential care and retirement villages.

Sue values building relationships with clients and supporting them through different stages of life, taking a responsive approach while striving to keep matters as simple and stress-free as possible. One of her greatest strengths is her ability to walk beside clients during the most challenging times, providing a steady presence to ease the way.

Outside of work, Sue is an active member of the Kapiti community. In her spare time, she and her husband, John, enjoy relaxing in their camper with good food and wine. At home, Sue often indulges her passion for design and creativity in her sewing room.
