In 2025, Natasha Turner became an integral part of the Wakefields Lawyers team.

After teaching English in Japan for 6 years, Natasha eagerly embraced the chance to transition into the legal industry.

Operating as a remote employee based in Blenheim, Natasha exemplifies excellence by delivering top-tier support to her team, thereby ensuring an unparalleled legal service for our clients. Driven by enthusiasm and a proactive approach, Natasha takes pride in her readiness to embrace any opportunity that comes her way.

Natasha is tasked with overseeing and maintaining all AML-based systems and procedures, with a primary focus on detecting, monitoring, and reporting instances of money laundering to the relevant authorities. In her capacity as the AML Compliance Officer, she also handles the daily management and auditing of Wakefields Lawyers’ trust administration procedures.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Natasha is a dedicated volleyball player and has also extended her passion for sports by volunteering at the Olympics whenever possible, most recently at the Tokyo Olympics. She also enjoys exploring the stunning destinations of the Marlborough region, with a particular fondness for the Marlborough Sounds.
